With the Roosters brand up and crowing, Asterisk Creative devised an original co-branded effort with the
Queen City's favorite hockey team. The firm's partners felt that the two brands complemented each other and
wanted to tout Roosters Men's Grooming Center becoming the official barber of the Charlotte Checkers.

The Checkers and Roosters each featured campaign signage in stores and the Bobcats Arena. Both companies displayed campaign artwork on their websites, and offered exclusive content in email newsletters. Together the two companies reached over 4,500 sports fans through out the greater Charlotte area.
The campaign was a grass-roots success, as fan and customer demand led to reprinting 2,000 extra campaign posters.
