Since opening in 1999, Roosters Men's Grooming Center has been one of America's fastest-growing franchises.
Former marketing executive Larry Bonhaus experienced Roosters while on the road, and decided to bring the franchise
to Charlotte.
Making Roosters something to crow about.
Roosters launched their first location in Charlotte with front-page coverage in the Charlotte Observer Style and Charlotte Business Journal's retail section. The website captured leads from the interest created by the commercial spots and promotions placed with sports radio station WFNZ, encouraging listeners to sign up for the Roosters Report email newsletter. Within two weeks, over 300 prospective customers had signed up for the newsletter and received special offers not available to the public. We followed MENdependence Day with the Club Chair Quarterback promotion featuring popular WFNZ personality Mark Packer. The promotion enticed listeners to sign up for the Roosters Report for a chance to win a closed-to-the-public gathering with the "Pac-man" and friends at Roosters. Club Chair Quarterback drew an extra 150 sign ups to the email list and kept the momentum alive for the newest Roosters location opening in Ballantyne.
As a result, Bonhaus' Roosters Charlotte locations are on pace to equal or better the sales numbers of the most
successful Roosters franchises in the country.
